Standards

Editorial Policy

CryptoOption is an independent editorial publication. This page describes the standards we apply to every piece of content we publish.

Independence

Our editorial team operates independently. Coverage decisions are made on editorial merit, not commercial considerations. Where any commercial relationship exists with a subject of coverage, it is disclosed.

Sourcing

We rely on primary sources wherever possible — original filings, public statements, on-chain data, and direct conversations with relevant parties. Secondary sources are cited where appropriate.

Accuracy

Articles are fact-checked before publication. When we discover an error, we correct it promptly and visibly. Material corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected article.

Fairness

Brand reviews follow a structured framework covering governance, offering, infrastructure, client experience and fit. Subjects are evaluated against consistent criteria rather than ad hoc impressions.

Conflicts of interest

Contributors are required to disclose any material holdings in assets or firms they cover. Conflicts that cannot be managed result in reassignment of the story.

Anonymous sources

We use anonymous sources only when the information is of clear public interest and cannot reasonably be obtained on the record.

Corrections and complaints

To request a correction or submit a complaint, write to editorial@cryptooption.io. We aim to respond within five working days.
